Communion with the Land

A few weeks back the Lord revealed through just a simple "God Thought" the idea of taking communion with the land. So on Wednesday the 10th of October I acted on that thought from God. I took communion myself - breaking of the bread and drinking in remembrance of His blood shed.

I read Matthew 26:26 which says, 'As they were eating, Jesus took some bread and blessed it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, “Take this and eat it, for this is my body.”And he took a cup of wine and gave thanks to God for it. He gave it to them and said, “Each of you drink from it, for this is my blood, which confirms the covenant between God and his people. It is poured out as a sacrifice to forgive the sins of many.'

I felt like the Jesus was saying, "Remind the land of my blood, which confirms the covenant. Let the land literally drink of this blood of mine... just like on that day, so will my blood be poured out upon this land as a sacrifice to forgive the sins of many which have taken place before my eyes. Let me cleanse this land and home my way, through my blood."

So I did just that. I took the drink and I poured it around this land I live on, praying in the spirit as I did so. Also, praying the Lord would forgive all that has taken place here; that he would cleanse the land and this home and make it new and also I was declaring a new covenant with the Lord, that this land and home are His, to be used to bring HIM glory.

I also laid hands on my house and prayed as I went around every side of my home. And I even applied the "blood of the Lamb" to the door posts of my house. This was a significant act I sensed.

What a powerful act of worship unto the Lord!

I sensed the grip of certain things even breaking as the land was drinking in remembrance of His blood which was shed. Also the slate of this land and home were being washed clean and marked as the Lord's property.

Blessings For Free

Lately I've been reading in His Living Word about the importance of remembering. Remembering what the Lord has done in the past. How often we forget all his benefits and all he does for us, he constantly is pouring out blessings upon us, he constantly is working miracles (big or small) in our lives. Yet we find ourselves complaining or wondering if God will really come through for us during our current situation even though just yesterday He showed us just how big He really is; maybe he provided that $200 you needed for rent, last minute, but your needs were met; maybe he provided you with that friend when you needed it most; maybe He took delight in your heart's desire and fixed that camera for you for free (that's me).
I want to remember the things the Father does for me so that next time I can say in my situation, "No I will not worry because my Father has provided for me time and time again. He is faithful."

Psalm 77:11-12 I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. I will meditate on all your works and consider all your mighty deeds.

Psalm 78:4, 6-8, 11 &12 – We will not hide them from their children; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done. So the next generation might know them, even the children not yet born, and they in turn will teach their own children. So each generation should set its hope anew on God, not forgetting his glorious miracles and obeying his commands. Then they will not be like their ancestors, stubborn, rebellious, and unfaithful, refusing to give their hearts to God. (Yet) They forgot what he had done, the great wonders he had shown them, the miracles he did for their ancestors…

Big or small, physical, emotional or spiritual, remember what the Lord does. Don't forget what He has done…

Just a few things I want to remember…

  • Our Nikon camera was fixed for free after being broken for 9 months
  • We got a new couch and a chair & 1/2 for free!
  • Free pumpkins from neighbor
  • A friend sent me a book called "Pure Joy" - praying for your child. What a blessing as it arrived just when I needed it.
  • Much revelation about the Holy Spirit
  • Revelation about taking communion with the land
  • Table & 4 chairs for free!
  • Futon for free!
  • A brand new recliner for free!
  • He continues to comfort me in my times of sorrow and he continues to heal my breaking heart.
