God Will Make a Way

The last few days I have been really drawn back to a song a heard when I was younger.  It's called, "God Will Make a Way" by Don Moen.

Words to the song:

God will make a way
Where there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will make a way for me
He will be my guide
Hold me closely to His side
With love and strength
For each new day
He will make a way
He will make a way
By a roadway in the wilderness
He'll lead me
And rivers in the desert will I see
Heaven and earth will fade
But His Word will still remain
He will do something new today

------------------
Thank you Father God for making a way where there seems to be no way.  Thank you that we can trust you with our lives and the plans you have for us are good.  We give thanks for all that you do for us, all that you are working on on our behalf.  Thank you for your amazing guidance and peace along the road.   You make me strong in this place of waiting and being still.  Thank you for reminding me about Psalm 46:10 - Be still and know that I am God.
Lord, I ask for a special anointing about today.  I need your grace to raise these kids up today in the way you would want me to.  Help me to know where to draw the line with them, and teach me how to disciple each one according to your will, not my own.  You know each one of us and you know how we are linked together.  Help me not use my attitude or tiredness to get in my way of loving my kids right.  I cannot do today without you, Lord.  So I seek you're advice and wisdom on how to go about today.
Thank you for your unending help.

I also lift up this housing search.  Lord, we have no control over the speed of things or the process.  But you do.  We commit it all to you.  Lead and guide us during this season.  We ask that you would open doors that no man can open, and close doors that no man can close.  Thank you that you are the ultimate realtor.  You know what will work for us and our budget for this upcoming season.  Thank you that you see the whole picture, even if we see a little piece.  You are Jehovah Jireh - My Provider.  Thank you.  We ask for continued flow of wisdom and Godly advice during this process.  Help us to look at things with your eyes.
Lord, you see the house we are looking at, and even though we haven't looked very many houses, we believe that this is the place you have in mind for us.  I ask that things would move forward with your anointing and speed.

Prayer for Wisdom Regarding Home Buying

Lord, thank you for another day to dwell in your presence.  Help me to focus on your rest and peace even in the middle of the chaos of my day.  I ask that you would give me wisdom on how to raise these little ones that you have entrusted to Jeremiah and I.  Help me to know how to encourage them to see you in everything that they do and say.  Also, help me to control my anger and attitude; I want to mirror right behavior, not display bad behavior that will come back and bite me in the rear.
I again, surrender Josh's weight and lack of eating to you.  I can't control his appetite, but you can.  I can't control the big or small bites he takes, but you can.  I ask right now for a stirring of a right appetite in him today and everyday.  I pray that you would give me wisdom to know if there truly is something that needs to change with his diet, even if it that means going gluten-free.  I ask that you guide and direct Jer and I in this area.   Thank you that you are the God that multiples ad does miracles.  I ask that you would multiply every piece of food that goes into his body, that his body would take in all the nutritional value that his body needs.  I pray this also for Saray & Grayson's bodies as well.

Lord, thank you for this house that you have us living in right now.  Thank you for the quick process you lead us on to get to this place.  The timing was ALL you, and we thank you for that.  You know our desires to look for a new place, and not other that, but to buy our own place, instead of rent.  We want to be wise in our adventures of house buying and not just buy whatever looks good at first glance.  Lord, we thank you that you are faithful to provide.  We know that we can trust you to provide in the area of provisions and in the area of timing.  We pray that you would put your hand on the house that you have for us, and that you would make it light up like the sun on a cloudy day.  That it would be so noticeable that this is the house you have in mind for us.
Also that you would give us wisdom as to whom we should get our loan through and that everything from the time of signing for the loan to the closing of the house would go smoothly with your anointing all over it.
Thank you for taking our deepest desires into account also:
  • Laundry room separate and not in the kitchen or main area
  • Nice, bright basement with lots of options to work with
  • Backyard that would be able to accommodate a garden and our children running around
  • 4 bed rooms and 2 bathrooms (for our sanity and growing family)
  • That the house would be facing S for the best light for growing indoor plants, etc.
  • Plenty of room to grow (plenty of closets, and cabinets, etc)
Thank you that you are in the process
