More Then Just Words...

FAITH:
- Belief and trust in and loyalty to God.
- Firm belief in something for which there is no proof.
- Complete trust.

• Hebrews 11:1 - Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.

HOPE:
- To cherish a desire with anticipation.
- To desire with expectation of obtainment.
- To expect with confidence.

• Job 6:8 - Oh that I might have my request, and that God would fulfill my hope.

• Romans 8:25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.

• Acts 2:26 - Therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced; my flesh also will dwell in hope.

TRUST:
- Assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, or truth of someone or something.
- One in which confidence is placed.
- Dependence on something future or contingent.

• Psalm 37:5 - Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.Psalm 62:8 - Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us.

• Proverbs 3:5 - Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.

• Psalms 56:3 - When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.
